Bring the CRM you already pay for.
Any CRM that exports a CSV, which is all of them. Drop the export in and Lewis reads it, including the notes column, which is where the reason somebody was ever a lead is written down.
No integration, on purpose
An integration is a thing to wait for, a thing to authorise, a thing to break when the other side ships, and a reason to tell somebody “we don’t support your CRM yet”. A CSV export is a button that already exists in every CRM sold.
So the door is the export. You point Lewis at it and it starts.
What it reads
- Names and numbers, obviously.
- The notes column, which is the actual point. “Wants Champlain before the school year.” “Pre-approved to 415, husband is the holdout.” That is what makes a first text answerable.
- Whatever dates are in there: when they came in, when you last spoke, because a note’s age changes how you open with it.
What it drops, at the door
Numbers that cannot or must not be texted leave at import rather than being filtered later. That distinction matters: a row that never entered the process cannot be texted by a later bug, a re-run, or somebody clicking the wrong thing.
- Not-textable numbers.
- Anyone marked do-not-contact.
- Anyone who has ever replied STOP, on any seat in the brokerage. Opt-out policy.
What the import turn actually says
The import is the slowest thing in the product, so each status line sits immediately before the work it describes: pulling contacts, then reading their notes, then building a profile for each of the ones it can text. Every one of those names work genuinely in flight.
And the turn that finishes the import is the turn that names your first lead and shows you a draft for them, not a question about whether you would like one.
A re-import does not cost you your conversations. Clearing the conversations keeps the imported leads, deliberately: a retry that costs a re-import is a retry nobody makes.
