Terms of Use

What you are buying, what stays yours, and what this software should not be relied on for. Written plainly, because a term nobody can read is a term nobody agreed to.

The membership

A per-agent, per-month subscription to the Lewis application. $79, $189 or $449 per agent per month depending on plan, or 20% less billed annually. Pricing.

No minimum term, no setup fee, no cancellation fee. Cancel and the membership runs to the end of the period you have already paid for.

What Lewis does on your behalf

It drafts messages to contacts you import and, at the autonomy level every account starts on, holds every one of them for your approval. You may grant it permission to send without asking (copilot mode), and you may take that permission back at any time.

Messages sent through Lewis go out under your name and your licence. Approving a draft is your decision, and a message you approved is your message. Lewis reduces the number of bad messages you are able to send; it does not become the sender.

What stays yours

  • Your leads, your threads and your event log.
  • Every judgement a licence exists to make: what to promise, what to commit to, what a property is worth, who to represent.
  • Compliance with your brokerage’s policy, your state’s rules, and the law where you practise.

What Lewis refuses to do

Set out in full on Trust. In summary: it will not send fair-housing language, will not assert a fact about a property it cannot source, will not text somebody who has opted out, and will not claim to be a person. None of these is a setting.

Acceptable use

Do not use Lewis to contact people you have no existing relationship with, to work a list you did not obtain lawfully, or to send anything you would not sign your own name to. Do not attempt to defeat the guardrails; if one blocks something you believe should send, tell us rather than working around it.

What the software should not be relied on for

  • Legal, tax or financial advice. It gives none, and the guardrails are controls rather than compliance opinions.
  • Facts about properties. There is no MLS behind it. It cannot know a square footage, a price or an availability, and it is built not to claim one.
  • Perfect uptime. It is software. The status line in the footer is what it says.

Limits

The service is provided as it is. To the maximum extent the law allows, liability is limited to the amount you paid in the twelve months before a claim. Nothing here limits anything that cannot lawfully be limited.

Changes

Material changes will be announced on Updates, and the date at the top of this page is when it last changed. Continuing to use the service after a change is acceptance of it.

The honest caveat

This is written to be read and to be accurate about the software. It has not been reviewed by counsel and is not a negotiated agreement. Where your brokerage’s obligations are stricter, theirs govern.
